Ennis Cottages

Balderson, Ontario

Welcome to Ennis Cottages Online....

bennettlake1 Our cottages are situated on the north shore of Bennett Lake, close to the mouth of the Fall River. Bennett Lake is a beautiful lake situated just 15 miles northwest of Perth, Ontario. Bennett Lake is connected to Fagan Lake through the Fall River. The lake is close to 5 miles long and winds through a series of smalls islands. The lake is quite deep in most areas, however, there are a couple of rock shoals, which are very well marked. Bennett Lake is also situated in the middle of beautiful Lanark County where there is always plenty of wildlife.

Within a short drive there are lots of wonderful golf courses and amenities. We are also just a hours drive from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's capital.

We have a sandy beach, which is great for swimming, as well as a playground, horseshoe pit, and beach volleyball available for the whole family. The beach is close to the cottages and swimming is great. There is also a swimming raft available.

There is also plenty of great fishing for Pickerel, Bass, Pike, and Panfry.

On site we have a boat and motor, kayak, canoe, and paddle boat rental store where we sell gas, ice cream, some groceries, and bait. Fishing licenses are available for purchase at the office.

bennettlake2We are open from May to October with weekly rentals from Saturday until Saturday. Check in time is 12 o'clock noon, and check out is 10 A.M. During the months of July and August we only rent for one week intervals from Saturday through to Saturday, but during off seasons, weekends are permitted where space is available.

Please see our cottages page for cottage descriptions. Take a look at the rates page for current pricing and availability for cottages, and boat and motor rentals. For contact information please see the contact us page. For maps and directions see the maps page.
